I’m halfway done with the paper I need to finish by 12:20 tomorrow/today and stuck….going batshit crazy because I’m stressed….my whole body hurts because I’m so tense….each time I “take a break to clear my head” it makes me more stressed and tense and less able to focus on the task at hand….so what did I do? Look through Facebook pictures that I haven’t looked through in a while and post one on my tumblr…yeah that thing that I NEVER EVER use except to read other people’s schtuff on my dashboard.

Frump Monster about to wreck on dessert.

A few weeks back, I hollered at the Frump Monster to hang out with ya boy in the twilight of the LA Film Festival. After catching the Propaganda Films Music Video Retrospective and ditching what was probably the lamest panel/discussion afterwards, we decided to hit up what is referred to as “The Best Burger in LA”.

I still can’t say whether its the best one in LA, but damn if that shit wasn’t “Bomb-Dot-Com”. It’s a tiny place that has been around since the 40’s, which means no AC system. So don’t attempt to eat there anytime while the sun is out during the summer. You can also order up and take the grub to go as well which is acceptable. We opted for a burger, soda, & fries each however, we could’ve done without one of the orders of fries. I’m not known for my sweets, but we had to try the homemade Apple Pie ala Mode. Let me just say:

If you wanna know what this super fantastic place is and where it’s located, hit me up and I’ll bestow this great gift of culinary knowledge upon you. Oh and before I forget, while excellent, this place is located in LA, which means it’s quite overpriced. It’s also Cash ONLY, so be sure to hit up the ATM before you go. Nom nom nom…

I have a friend (I won’t name names or anything). We’ve known each other for about 2 years now. Unfortunately, this means I completely missed her awkward younger years. At first I was sad, that is until I saw a photo of what has to be what she was like in her youth. I’ve made the proper notations to further highlight the similarities. It’s quite uncanny. I suppose I need to see The Princess Diaries now, to see what this trainwreck looks like in action. Anyways, not much has changed, except her height. She’s a strong 7’4”. If you ever see her walking down the street (and really, you can’t miss the ol’ frump giant) you can say “hi”, but be quick about it. Don’t let her get attached!
