For Your Consideration: Funniest Scene of this Movie
So far, Jason Reitman is pretty top notch in my book. He would be with Thank You For Smoking alone, as that film still holds up today and usually picks me up when I watch it. As for Juno, well, I must say I’ve become a bit jaded to it based upon multiple viewings and time passing. However, I put it’s faults more on Diablo Cody’s dialogue, most especially after seeing Jennifer’s Body and realizing her deal with creating horrible, horrible slang words.
As such, there doesn’t seem to be any sight of Cody, Michael Cera, or Ellen Page in Up In The Air. Instead we trade up for Zach Galifianakis, Sam Elliot, Vera Farmiga, Danny McBride, and of course, The Clooney. It should be noted that Reitman has kept Jason Bateman and J.K. Simmons (who is the only one to have appeared in all 3 of his films) because he knows who the goods are.
I am severely looking forward to this after catching the first trailer (that almost made me question my entire being) and the brand new trailer below, which fleshes out the film a bit more for us. Even if I get nothing for Christmas, at least I’ll have Up In The Air.
There are some people out there who are not aware that this video exists, let alone the context of it. I feel sorry for those people. Why am I not this bad ass?? Highlights:
