I think we all know the REAL reason why Battle: Los Angeles looks like a champ. If Christopher Nolan really had balls, he’d cast her in The Dark Knight Rises over all those middle aged white women. I suppose if he’s too scurred to take on The Riddler, he’s too scurred for MRod.

From Badlands to Get Low, for you, what has changed in the game?
What has stayed the same?
You got into acting with help from your cousin Rip Torn. He’s done some pretty outlandish things both on-camera and off. Do you understand what drives him?
What are some things you learned from him?
In Badlands you were 24 playing a 15 year old. In Carrie, you were 26 playing a high school senior (Oscar nominated). In Coal Miner’s Daughter, you were 30 and played as young as 14 (Best Actress). Why were you attracted to such young roles and what was your “secret” to playing them so well?
As serious as you’ve gotten, you’re no stranger to a decent comedy. From Blast to the Past to Hot Rod to Four Christmases. Is humor more of a challenge or a relief for you as an actor?
What do you take from working with young stars (like Andy Samberg, Reese Witherspoon) versus veterans (such as Brendan Frasier, Charlize Theron, Kevin Costner) and even more established actors (such as Donald Sutherland, Martin Sheen, Robert Duval)?
How do you prepare when working with such directors as Altman, De Palma, Lynch, Malick, and Stone? Can you ever prepare enough?
